Jaguar Falls

Situated in a lush valley on the outskirts of the Chagres National Park lies a small, sustainable town called Kalu Yala. Having heard of this little city for the very first time years ago from a friend, I knew that this would be one of the main things that I wanted to explore and experience during my trip to Central America.

Not only does the residents of Kalu Yala work on new ways to build a sustainable future, but also research around the bio-diversity of Panama and ways to protect it's wildlife.

This is truly a magic place and I'd highly recommend a visit if interested in environmental issues and sustainability ( ...or if you just want a jungle adventure)
